What if we could captivate children with the magic of climate solutions through playful experiences?

We provide hands-on incursions for early learning centres, primary schools, councils and cultural institutions.

Kids July Holiday Workshops

Creative Climate Play: Marine Life Mission

Interactive marine life projection

As part of Plastic Free July we’ve been invited by Northern Beaches Council to present a series of interactive school holiday workshops.

Children 7-12 years will explore marine sustainability through art and interactive technology with a stimulating half-day experience on Wednesday 16 July or Thursday 17 July!

Marine life artwork

The Marine Life Mission program playfully inspires children to protect local marine life as they:

  • engage with interactive digital floor projections

  • connect through a team mission to build the Northern Beaches coastline with pre-loved Lego

  • take on an individual mission to create a 3D marine-life artwork using a range of recycled cardboard elements

  • enjoy awe-inspiring storytelling about marine life on the Northern Beaches coastline while learning how to protect it

Celebrating World Environment Day

We celebrated World Environment Day with a wild educational excursion like no other at Taronga Zoo Sydney from 3 - 5 June 2025.

This wild educational excursion intertwined the chance to come face to face with animals and their environments, and to explore climate solutions using interactive digital floor games and recycled materials.

Sacred Earth, Sustainable Futures: First Nations Climate Playhouse

The world-first ‘Sacred Earth, Sustainable Futures: First Nations Climate Playhouse’ - an interactive climate solutions experience - was held during Climate Action Week Sydney 2025 at the Australian Museum.

The experience was supported by a 2024 Innovation and Ideas Grant from the City of Sydney, and was delivered by 100% First Nations owned business TIPIAC Pty Ltd and Be The Future, in collaboration with additional First Nations businesses.

Welcome to 100 days of climate play

Sally just competed 100 playful climate challenges over 100 consecutive days! We’ve collaborated with countless visionary organisations, startups & communities such as Taronga Zoo, Australian Museum, UNSW, Climate Salad, Koori Kinnections, OzHarvest, Sydney Climate Crew, Greenspace and Goterra

From inviting strangers to join playful activities to going behind the scenes with awe-inspiring solutions, this challenge showcases the incredible breadth of climate play.

Activities include immersive AR experience at Taronga Zoo Sydney, a circle of people at PHIVE, a child in cosplay at Coogee Beach, a man cooking at Koori Kinnections, a child playing a giant sustainable game at The Coal Loader, a person with a solar-electric car at UNSW SXSW Sydney, a person eating waste maggots at Goterra, and a person harvesting edible plants at a rooftop garden.
Helen and Sally dressed as 13 foot long reclaimed plastic mermaids on the rocky seashore

Mermaids with a Porpoise

2023’s business launch saw us “washed up” on the shores of Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia and Runswick Bay in Yorkshire, England, as 4m long reclaimed waste mermaids to highlight the amount of plastic waste in the sea for World Ocean Day 2023.

You’d need 30 of Sally’s tail - or 42 of Helen’s tail - to mirror the amount of plastic that ends up in the ocean every second. Every second!

The mermaid outfits took over 300 hours to create using reclaimed waste such as plastic bottles, balloons, lids, coffee pods, medicine blister packs, foam mats and broken toys.

As the mermaids we were featured in mass media including Channel 10 News, Channel 7 News, BBC News and The Times.

And we’ve been on tour at festivals, events and workshops all over Sydney and the UK.

Like a “mermaid with a porpoise” to make an appearance at your festival or event?
