Welcome to 100 days of climate play

Sally is doing 100 playful climate challenges over 100 days! Helen is joining her for some of these - as are many amazing collaborators, such as Taronga Zoo, Climate Salad, UNSW and Goterra

From re-playing guerilla marketing stunts to gentle craftivism projects, from inviting strangers to join playful activities to going behind the scenes with awe-inspiring solutions, this challenge will showcase the incredible breadth of climate play.

Here’s a taste… ⬇️

This 100 days of climate play challenge is inspired by Jia Jiang’s shameless 100 days of rejection challenge.

For some challenges, you’ll be able to easily play along at home. For other challenges, you’ll be relieved to be able to gawk at the sheer shamelessness / audacity / (sometimes magic!) of it all.

Why 100 days of climate play?

Everyone needs PLAY - even adults.

A compelling body of research - across disciplines including neuroscience, behavioural science and ethology - demonstrates that play is crucial not just for children, but for adults and thriving societies.

And a more playful approach to climate action can have some big benefits.
